Traditional Home in Dobrota

Pros: The host (Dean) was great, easily contactable and gave us a really warm welcome. The location is perfect - you can have a nice coastal walk to lively Kotor and get back to this cosy, quiet area with a beautiful beach right in front of the property. Plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants around. The terrace overlooking the beach was very cosy and nice to have a drink or breakfast on. Dean's garden is cosy and lovely. The house is very old, traditional and quaint.

Cons: Uncomfortable beds and the shower.

Wonderful location, helpful host

Pros: Dean the host was very accommodating and couldn’t do enough for us including booking taxis when we needed them. The location is perfect with a 20 minute walk into Kotor old town and a 15 minute walk the other way to some nice restaurants in Dabrota. We spent most evenings pre dinner on the terrace overlooking the bay with wonderful views with a glass of wine which was really nice

Cons: Needs a little updating but apartment was clean

Pros: We had a wonderful stay at Vujošević apartment in Dobrota. The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location is perfect – just a few steps from the sea and very close to Kotor Old Town (like 15-20 mins to walk), yet peaceful and relaxing. Dean was an amazing host, always helpful, responsive, and kind. He gave us great recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. We truly felt at home and would love to come back again. Highly recommended!

Pros: We had such a wonderful experience staying here. The host was very helpful, welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. The stone balcony, including its view, was both mesmerizing and very cozy. We will be back!

Pros: Beautiful place to stay, Dean the owner was so helpful with anything we needed, we felt safe and comfortable at all times. This place is perfect for friends, couples, families wanting a relaxing get away.

Cons: No air conditioning , so very hot at night.

We’d love to come back

Pros: Loved loved loved the location. The host, Dean, couldn’t have been nicer. Warm welcome, lent us hairdryer, and booked us taxi back to the airport. Deck chairs were available for our use on the waterside opposite. Felt we were looked after, although we were not encroached on. We had the twin bed plus sofa bed apt . Was basic but very comfortable and clean. Quiet! Enough wardrobe space, fridge. WiFi only in the apartment. Beautiful shared balcony overlooking the sea. Easy walking distance to Kotor and also to lovely restaurants in the other direction. Bakery five mins walk up the hill, supermarket along the front. Beautiful sunbathing and swimming area right in front of apartments. Had a lovely time and big thank you to Dean and family.

Cons: Just for awareness, not dislike: you need to bring/buy own shower stuff, only soap and loo roll provided. (Numerous shops within walking distance) . And for those with mobility issues, be warned, there are stairs.

Pros: The location is perfect if you want to chill at the beach and head into Kotor in the evening. Dean is a great host who can answer any questions and give you tips. If you do stay I can recommend a midnight swim in the sea. We were lucky and had a nearly full moon so could enjoy the mountain skyline.

Summer vacation - group of friends - 5 days stay

Pros: Nice apartment, quiet location just next to the beach and pretty close to the old town. Hosts were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Definitely a recommendation!

Great location in an authentic Montenegrin home.

Pros: The location is perfect. Gorgeous views of the bay, swimming straight outside the property but an easy 25 minute walk into Kotor old town. There’s a fantastic terrace you can sit and eat on. It’s easy to get to Perast on the bus from the main road. It’s quiet for sleeping. The owners are very friendly and helpful.

Cons: The cooking facilities were pretty basic so it was tricky to cook a meal. The shower curtain kept falling off, but we didn’t worry about it too much! It’s not a 5 star property but it’s authentic and we slept well, which is important.
