Pros: The room and around fit to the explanation and pictures. Breakfast was basic and tasty. We came in October when season is over. The owner cook a dinner for us. It was quite expensive (30 euro par person taking a fish, 15 - with no fish), but tasty. Wine was exceptional. It was better then drive in the dark to the restaurant and back (the road is not easy even during the daylight). Adrian made the welcome. Very nice guy with good English. The owner, Vasko (sorry if a spell the name wrongly) is very nice guy. Able to speak Russian. Show us the winery. The wine is exceptional. Very quite place. The views are stunning.

Cons: The only one thing was not OK - in one of the rooms (we took 2) water in the shower drains poorly - floor was full of water.

Wonderful wine tasting with an insane view and even better staff

Pros: The property was absolutely stunning, not to mention the gorgeous views. The room was pristine and the whole place felt very homely and welcoming. Adrian, our tour guide was so friendly and down to earth and very knowledgeable about the different wine making techniques. Vesko was a very warming and welcoming host who made sure we were taken care of at all times. The wine tour was amazing and the wine tasting was even better, we had an amazing time and would recommend Markovic Winery to anyone and everyone!!

Cons: There is no faults I could give the property, it was absolutely beautiful.

excellent stay, would definitely be back

Pros: A charming and very well-maintained estate. The couple who run it are lovely and welcoming – they don’t speak English, but there’s a WhatsApp contact who speaks excellent English. They informed us in advance about unusual traffic on our arrival day and went above and beyond to accommodate a late check-in when we had car trouble and were significantly delayed. They even arranged a late dinner for us. The room was clean, spacious, and high-quality, with a comfortable bed and a luxurious shower, and the balcony was perfect. Breakfast and dinner were simple but fresh and excellent.

Cons: There is a pool on the property, but it wasn’t in use when we arrived – if the pool had been available, the place would have been perfect. A suggestion for improvement: having coffee (a coffee machine) available at breakfast or for purchase during the day would be an excellent addition (there is coffee, but its just the Turkish type) Keep in mind that the drive to the property is winding and can be challenging in the dark.

Pros: Beautiful place with very friendly staff and great wines! Comfortable bed in a clean room and great local food for breakfast. We also bought a dinner and it was excellent.

Cons: Not the easiest place to reach in middle of nature but totally worth the trip. We would visit again!

Just perfect

Pros: Absolutely stunning! We had a lovely stay. The owners of the property are friendly and even prepared a vegan meal for us. We got to see the cellar and had a walk around the property. Everything was perfect!

Quiet place for wine lovers

Pros: Nice place, quiet in the country side, clean and comfortable room, nice staff. Very good wine, but if you eat there ask for details : we were the only ones and had no choice for the meal. If you don’t like veal tongue you’re stuffed…

Cons: Too much daylight in the room please add curtains ! Some finishes needed in the room (newly built)

Great experience of an excellent example of one of Montenegro's high quality small wineries.

Pros: This was a unique travel experience and we would have no hesitation in recommending to others. The situation was stunning and the tour and wine-tasting first class. As was the wine itself! Parts of the winery, notably the wine storage areas, dinning rooms and tasting room were built and decorated to the highest standard. Good showers which dont leak water all over the floor!

Cons: There were some details such as the lack of curtains which effectively block light, which should be gradually improved. Our only hesitation was the ambiguity about the availability of breakfast and dinner. It felt as if this was done as an extra - when in fact there was no alternative except to drive up a narrow steep road to the nearest town. I am sure this was only because we were staying at the start of the season and the owners prepared a lovely meal for us on both evenings. This is not a criticism as we were treated very well at all times - but our impression was that dinner and breakfast were not part of the standard offer. If this is the case, then any guest would need to be very clear about their options.

We had the best stay here, great cellar tour and wine tasting and incredible weather for the terrace.

Pros: The location was beautiful, the staff were welcoming and the room was perfect.

Cons: A coffee machine in the room would have been a bonus but not a huge problem for us

Highlight of trip to Cetinje

Pros: A unique experience, absolutely the best wines we have tried during many visits to Montenegro, and a stunning location. Very spacious room with large comfortable bed and excellent shower. The highlight was the wine tour and tasting. So much care and consideration has gone into creating the winery, it’s a trip not to be missed.

Cons: Nothing!

A scenic stay with delicious wine and a lovely traditional supper.

Pros: Incredible views!! Very comfortable, but lovely rustic look. We did a fab wine tasting and had a lovely tour of the vineyard. We were offered a delicious traditional dinner in the evening, which was perfect.
