Hotel Sanja former Oliva

Absolutely Fabulous !

Pros: Location was ideal, facilities were spot on but what stood out were the staff. They were exceptional, friendly, helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We arrived after one am and they organised our arrival for which, after a six hour bus ride, we were extremely grateful. But the highlight was the meal, quite simply divine. We would definitely go back at the drop of a hat.

Pros: Perfect location. Everything is close. Great hosts. I recommend this small family hotel to anyone who wants to visit Budva

Pros: Private free parking on site. 600 meters from the beach, 1.2 km from Budva old town. Breakfast was excellent. The owner was super nice.

Pros: It is a family-run business. The owners are very kind and welcoming. They gave us a free welcome drink and even prepared the room before the official check-in time. The breakfast was nice, the location is perfect, and they also provided us with a parking space.

Pros: Our host was awesome. When we arrived with car he directed our car to hotel parking spot and helped with bags. Breakfast was served on hotel garden. Hotel was clean and service was best we have had with our travels.

Pros: Very good location. Room was very clean. Owner is very friendly and helpful for any issue.

Cons: Room was a bit small. Parking place is a bit difficult to park.

Near the bus station and the beach, great breakfast

Pros: The location was ok, about 1km from the bus station and even less to the beach. Big super market 24h just around the corner (but closed on Sunday). The room was nice with very comfortable double bed and super clean sheets. AC, wifi, fridge all working well. Breakfast was served outside under the olive trees, very calm and beautiful place. Good breakfast with fresh bread, cheese, meat, fruit, eggs etc. (not buffet but you have a lot to eat!!) Especially the coffee was super good, they'll bring the whole pot of coffee in the table and another pot of hot milk, just perfect! The owners were friendly and helpful, especially the man with his better English. He suggested and called me a taxi for bus station, I was very happy about it, it was a super hot day to carry luggage and I thought taxis are not to be trusted, but the price was very low after all.

Cons: The room was small and there were too much furniture that didn't fit there, I had to re-arrange them to have space for my big luggage. The balcony was on street side, not cosy at all, you could use it just for dry your bikinis. Very noisy by night, lot of people walking by and lots of traffic too, but with a bit noisy fridge and AC I could get sleep. Also tip for the other guests: be careful to not turn off the hot water in the bathroom, I did it by accident, so no hot water coming before I could figure it out (asking the staff to help me).

Here you feel warmly welcomed

Pros: The breakfast was served to the tables including bread, cold cuts, cheese, fruit, juice, youghurt and pie + coffee or tea, honey and jam. For us this suited very well and we didn't long for a buffet type of breakfast.

Good overall!

Pros: Good location, good breakfast in the garden, decent room, polite welcoming attentive staff , nice balcony, quiet even at night.

Cons: A bit old and tired, the air con unit is very loud, the bathroom is very small. Just details, all more than fine for one night.
