Panorama Stone Houses - Skadar Lake

Pros: If you enjoy a slow-living vibe, nature, and hidden gems—or if you’re looking for a secluded place for meditation, unplugging, or remote work—this house is a choice you won’t regret. And the view is one you won’t forget. It’s everything mass tourism is not. The house was my “office” for a week of remote work, with short breaks for boat rides on the lake. The road that circles the lake is paved and very picturesque. It’s narrow, so I recommend driving slowly and relaxed. It’s best to arrive with supplies for breakfast and dinner. The house is fully equipped and well appointed. Around the lake you’ll find a few small, charming restaurants and a shop for basics. By chance I also met the family who owns the house—lovely people who make you feel at home (they don’t live there; the house is rented in its entirety).

Pros: A stunning and breathtaking view. The style, design, and ambiance are all impeccable. The house has everything you need, from towel sets to small extras (welcome snacks, a variety of coffees and teas, and more). The hosts are incredibly hospitable and ready to assist you at any time.

Natural beauty and authenticity

Pros: The stunning Panorama stone house exceeded our expectations. The charm of the stone architecture blended beautifully with the breathtaking panoramic views of the Skadar lake and Montenegrin and Albanian mountains. The interiours create a cozy atmosphere. The house is practical, with a wood stove, AC/heating, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. The hosts provided thoughtful touches, from carefully selected materials to a very nice landscaping with plants and trees. The communication was very friendly, with a forthcoming attitude. If you are seeking tranquility, beauty, and outstanding hospitality, this stone house is a must-visit!
