Bobija Village Skadar lake

Pros: Everything was clean, comfortable beds, good view and a nice host.

Very enjoyable and great view of the lake from the platform behind the house.

Pros: Great stay and remote and very quiet. Our host was very helpful and arranged a boat to take us to the local restaurant. The house is modern and has all you need to self cater so make sure you bring provisions with you as there are no local shops.

Cons: The stairs up to the bedroom are steep.

Pros: Very close to nature, absolutely silence with amazing views of the lake from the window and the terrace. The only sounds you’ll hear are the birds and the crickets! Close enough to Podgorica and other locations, the local village of Karuc has a nice restaurant. Very clean, basic amenities provided and mosquito nets on all windows / doors. (We visited in October so wasn’t a huge problem anyway). Host was really responsive to messages and very easy to communicate with. We felt very welcome and enjoyed our stay. The road to the property is partially asphalted but more of a track, quite bumpy so drive carefully! We visited in October so it was chilly at night but the AC did a great job of keeping the upstairs / bedroom area nice and warm.

Cons: The bathroom is a wetroom but doesn’t drain too well so left with a permanently wet floor. No ‘normal’ sized towels provided, just lots of small ones! The Kayak was broken (missing floor plugs so it just took on water) so we couldn’t explore the lake how we wanted to. The TV unfortunately wasn’t working although we weren’t too fussed about this as we were out most of the time anyway and the property has good wifi so tablets / phones can be used.

Pros: The apartment has everything you need! Very thoughtful hosts! We only stayed a couple of nights and they helped us organize a private boat tour on lake Skadar - trust their recommendations!

Cons: Everything was very nice - the only minus that doesn’t depend on the hosts is that those villages around Skadar lake are quite isolated and driving at night is a bit discouraging

Pros: We spent 4 nights in Bobija Village and we highly recommend this place especially to people who need to relax in the midst of nature and away from people. Very well equipped, clean and comfortable house with air conditioning. The view from the terrace on Skadar Lake was breathtaking and there was also the possibility of renting a kayak. Great! , The owner was very helpful (thank you for the keys) and trouble-free.Thank you very much for your hospitality!
