Old house

Pros: the location was absolutely stunning! my sister and I had the best time chilling on the patio and swimming in the lake! the best place for a quiet peaceful holiday!

Cons: be aware if the mosquitoes! however, the hosts did provide mosquito sprays and repellents in all the rooms!!

Absolutely perfect stay. Goran was wonderful! The place was so picturesque and peaceful on the lake.

Pros: Apartment had everything you needed - plenty of food and drinks, enough to please both a toddler and the parents for two nights (beers and wine for the parents!) Kayaks and buoyancy aids for all ages. Freshly picked figs! Wonderful boat trip round the lake with Goran.

Cons: Nothing at all.

Pros: What a gem. Super location even with 36 degrees outside ideal because the most beautifull swimming lake is at the doorstep. Kayaks are super to use. Very convenenient that the fridge is filled with drinks and food! All you need for 4 people!

Lovely lakeside retreat

Pros: Incredible setting with lovely seating overlooking the lake. Extremely well stocked for a lakeside retreat. Comfy beds.

Cons: The track to drive down and then the track to walk to the house were much rougher than we had anticipated.

Unique place with an amazing wiev!

Pros: Unique place right by the lake with an amazing view. Private house with two/three small terraces and private access to the lake. It's possible to rent a kayak or book a bout tour. Full fridge - enough to survive a few days without leaving the house.

Cons: It's a bit difficult to get to the house - after you park the car you need to go around 200m trough a narrow path - this might be challanging for older or disabled people. You might want to consider leaving your car in Karuc and taking a boat taxi from there. There is another place/hostel right next to the house (you need to go trough it to reach the house) - one day it was quite full and a bit noisy. The other days were fine though.

Pros: The access to the house is on a road that may seem a little difficult. The parking lot is 200 m from the house and you have to carry your luggage along a path through the forest. The house is rustic and very cute, equipped with everything you need. The owner left us food in the fridge, drinking water, sweets, fruits, and vegetables, everything you need, so that we don't have to leave the location during our stay. The staff was very kind and friendly. You can rent a kayak and explore the lake. It is a perfect place if you want to enjoy the peace and the beauty of nature. We spent 3 days there and we loved it.

Wonderful, peaceful, wild and full of adventures

Pros: Well, this is really not your usual type of vacations. If you are in from some adventure, this is the place to be!! You have to drive a dirt road or come by boat and walk the last 100 meters. Then you will be welcomed by the wonderful hosts. Someone explained us by phone in English few details, otherwise google translate. The home is delivered with a full fridge and pantry, and there are no shops or restaurants within walking distance. You have kayaks you can rent 10€/day or do a boat tour. It was one of the best vacations with my two kids. We did a lot of kayak, swimming in the lake, play with the neighborhood cats and just chill, far from civilization, just us. There is wifi. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen very well equipped and everything very clean. Don’t expect a 5-star hotel type of luxury, just super cool chill and extremely beautiful. Host extremely responsive.

Cons: Everything was super nice. Food might be complicated if you have some dietary restrictions. I am sure you can arrange with the hosts

Pros: Amazing place if you need to rest of moder and fast life. 😴. Here, life slows down. You get two full fridges with meals and drinks 🍸. Have a nice BBQ place. And most importantly, you have a private place.

Cons: The Internet is slow here. So this place is not for work.😉. And the place is in the nature, so you can meet some animals. But I like it.

Traumhaft

Pros: In idyllischer Traumlage ist das einfache, aber liebevoll ausgestattete Steinchalet ein verstecktes Kleinod inmitten der Natur am Skadar Lake. Wer Einsamkeit, Ruhe, Erholung, Wasser und Natur liebt, ist hier genau richtig. Besonderer Dank an den charmanten Gastgeber, der uns persönlich willkommen hieß und eine Bootstour mit uns auf dem Skadar Lake unternahm.Wir kommen sicher wieder.

Cons: Die 4 Tage waren zu kurz ;)

Pros: חתיכת גן עדן! מקום מושלם להוריד הילוך, להרגיש את הטבע ולנשום עמוק. הבית מתוק ונח ויש בו כל מה שצריך מזגן, מיטות נוחות, מטבח מאובזר ואפילו מקרר מלא מביצים וחלב ועד בירות! את דג'אן לא פגשנו אבל הוא דאג לכל כשהיינו זקוקים לדוחה יתושים הוא דאג לשלוח לנו כולל אבטיח על הדרך! נהנינו מכל רגע

Cons: בשבילנו זה היה לגמרי חלק מהחוויה אבל חשוב להגיד: אין גישה עם רכב למקום - יש הליכה של דקות ספורות בשביל סלעי. השרותים מקלחת מאד קטנים ונמצאים ישר מחוץ לחדר אך בצמוד אליו.
