We feel we made the right choice staying here

Pros: Excellent service, all staff were so friendly and did everything to make us feel comfortable and welcome. Was especially impressed by breakfast service. Wonderful location right on the seafront. We were upgraded to a sea view room which we were very happy with.

Cons: The only thing that was a little disappointing was dinner one night. Other than that it was all spot on.

Capable and friendly staff in nice hotel with exceptionally good breakfast

Pros: Hotel Riva has comfortable beds, delicious breakfast and a great location, but the reason it deserves a 10 is due to its amazing staff. We travel often, but have rarely met such friendly, helpful and capable people, especially at the reception. They made us feel welcome and excited about our stay when we arrived and helped us with a range of questions and some small request, which they didn’t have to do but did happily and readily.

Pros: The fact that it was directly on the beach was perfect. The hotel stuff were really friendly and spoke perfect English.

Pros: Hotel was wonderful in a perfectly central location. Staff at the hotel and restaurant gave outstanding service. I would recommend this hotel.

Luxury & carefree beach stay on the Adriatic coast.

Pros: Hotel was everything we could ask for - impeccably clean, with a private beach and high caliber restaurant with doting staff. They parked our car for us the moment we arrived, showed us to our beautiful room with a stunning view of the bay and the rest was seamless. We ate at the restaurant for nearly every meal as it was so on point, and the private beach made our entire experience completely care free.

Cons: Honestly the stay was lovely. My only comment may be on the bedding - they only have a sheet, or a light quilt in the closet, versus a complete duvet. It wasn’t an issue since Montenegro is so hot and the bed was comfortable as is but there’s something about a duvet that adds to the luxury if the hotel was open to ideas. I would also say they didn’t have toiletries like shampoo and conditioner, just the combo gel+shampoo. Both very minor things but only mentioning if they wanted something to look into adding!

Cons: None. Maybe the internet connection, but I don’t know if it’s not a nationwide issue.

A lovely stay

Pros: We were warmly welcomed when we first arrived at the hotel. The gentleman who took our car to the parking lot and then brought our luggage was very kind. Our room was new, clean, and had a sea view. A bed was prepared for our daughter. We had an issue with the discount offered to hotel guests at dinner, but Peter made us forget all about it. Without Peter, they wouldn’t have received this rating from us. He was very attentive and solution-oriented. Thank you again, Peter!

Cons: There could have been a coffee machine in the rooms.

Pros: Great and very friendly staff, awesome room, good food, exceptional service in the hotel, restaurant and beach from all staff. Awesome location directly at the beach with private access!

Cons: Some things to improve even further: add sun shades on the roof top, jacuzzi not fully working, beach could use a daily clean up, add better hair dryer and higher quality bathroom ammenities such as shampoo etc

Amazing.exactly what we needed after our wedding

Pros: High standards, attention to details, location, private beach, very nice restaurant but mostly the staff. From the reception to the restaurant and all the way to the beach. We would like to mention particularly Luka and Miodrag from the restaurant staff among a very good bunch and also Vladimir the beach waiter was particularly attentive and dealt with every situation in a very friendly way

Pros: Staff attentiveness and friendliness, breakfast on the terrace was amazing, cleanliness of the hotel, free parking, hotel restaurant food, little details like clothes dryer on balcony for wet swimwear and towels etc., Safe resort, no groups of drunken lads!

Cons: Being charged extra for sun bed use on beach. Air conditioning in room difficult to work out but staff helped with that. Need extra time to get anywhere in car as roads a bit congested and winding.
