NEWBORN Hostel Budva

Pros: The hostel is in the city center and the location is very good. It was very easy to reach everything, including the market, old town, and restaurants.

Pros: Everything was great. It was nice to have a Japanese speaking hostel owner.

Pros: Great location, decent room, clean, simple. Had working Aircon and shared bathroom for each dorm. Was good to stay for a night and quite cheap

Cons: Front doors always open and no locks on any doors, anyone can just walk in. Felt unsafe leaving my things in the room especially when my room was the first room in the house. Not really a proper communal area, just some chairs and tables out front.

Great place to stay

Pros: I loved everything about this place. I stayed there for a week, but Volkan was very communicative and made sure I was comfortable there. The owners dedication to ensuring everything is working fine, everything is cleaned, and the guest has everything they need is amazing. He also provide helpful tips of where to go or how to get there. Thank you so much for everything! I had a wonderful time in Budva.

Great location

Pros: Location is great, you can walk to beach & Old Town. Cafe & restaurants are close by. Host is great, knowledgeable, approachable and very quick to communicate by msg or WhatsApp. Bed comfortable, working air-conditioning, small but usable kitchen. Power outlet by bunk. Little outdoor area to hang out. Very close (10 min walk) to bus station.

Cons: No privacy curtains, no lock on bathroom door. No power outlet by top bunk so have a long cord to reach lower bunk one. Bathroom is small and shower water goes everywhere, floor is always wet. Hostel is on a busy road so can be a little noisy, bring earplugs.

Pros: Staff super welcoming, location super central, good price in Budva.

Pros: The location is perfect. The staff is kind and helpful for anything. Rooms, kitchen and bathroom were clean. It is worth to stay. I will definitely visit there again for my next trip to Budva.

Location and the best host :)

Pros: The property owner is so nice, generous, and friendly; also the location was fantastic!

Cons: Lockers and more facilities per bed would be valuable.

Pros: I stayed at this hostel and had a wonderful, relaxing experience. What stood out the most was the Turkish guy who runs the place—polite, helpful, and truly elegant in how he treats guests. Always smiling and ready to assist with anything I needed. The hostel was very clean and quiet, with a perfect location in the heart of the city—close to everything. I especially loved the courtyard; it was cozy, well-kept, and gave a warm, homely vibe. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a simple yet peaceful place to stay.

Cons: The bathroom in my room could have been cleaner, and there was a slight odor in some shared facilities — but nothing major. Overall, still a pleasant stay.

Pros: The host is so lovely and nice and welcoming even pays for your tourist tax, had the best sleep of my life, air con was amazing dark rooms everything I could ask for to be so rested. Perfect location close to everything.
