Sunlight Cottage Maya

This is a hidden gem amd very light with quiet surroundings and nice outside reading area in privacy.

Pros: Location was perfect and very spacious both inside and outside the property. The bed was very comfortable, kitchen well equipped and bathroom very clean and good shower. The host also left some things such as sweet treats, coffee, sugar etc which was very helpful.

Lovely place to stay

Pros: Really close to the town, 10 mins walk. Really comfy beds and a great shower. Perfect rest after a long day on the road!

Pros: Cannot recommend staying here highly enough! Maja is extremely helpful and such a lovely host who goes beyond and above. The apartment is great and perfect to spend some days and relax.

A peaceful oasis

Pros: We absolutely loved our stay at Sunlight Cottage Maya. Situated approximately 20 minutes easy walk from the centre of Virpazar, the cottage was a peaceful retreat. We found it was well equipped enough for a short stay, although we didn’t do any cooking while there, it was lovely to have a garden where we could sit and enjoy the quiet and views. Powerful but quiet air con which was very welcome on those 35c days, kept the entire building at a comfortable cool temperature. Our hosts went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible, even picking us up from Virpazar train station, saving us a lengthy walk with a large suitcase! Thank you so much for hosting us, we would highly recommend the cottage.

Great house and very friendly family

Pros: We stayed in the cottage for one night. Maya and her family had been so friendly! The cottage has everything. What do you need. The bed was really comfortable, even a washing machine(we didn’t need it) is there. You can combine your residence with the wine tasting in the winery of her brother Darko. The winery is straight above the cottage (50m). Don’t miss the boat tour, which you can book at her family. And especially don’t miss to eat the carb in the restaurant called Zoran, which is located at the edge of the bridge on the main road to Virpazar. We got treated so well and friendly. Anytime again.

Pros: Very friendly host, someone was at the appartement to hand us the keys. Very big, separate bedroom, big badroom, nice living space. Everything was excellent. Great location (8min walk to center) and big space to park your car (which is a big issue in the center).

Very peaceful spot, convenient short walk to Virpazar

Pros: It’s quiet, it’s close to Virpazar, quite spacious with nice sofas and the hosts are very helpful and friendly

Cons: The bathroom is a little small
