Magical, bewitching and unusual.

Pros: We totally fell in love with this place. The home is simple and charming. The hosts are wonderful. Luka and Danilo met us with the boat and also took us on a fascinating tour of the lake. Lydia cooked both breakfast and our evening meal with care and generosity. The location is private and beautiful. If you want company, nightlife or shops/markets to wonder around this is not the place for you. If you love wildlife and tranquility it is hard to beat.

A wonderful and beautiful cultural experience.

Pros: Simply the most incredible view I have ever woken up to. The accommodation is quite a basic room in a stone house run by Luca and his parents. It is part of a deserted village and there no one else living there. It is about 30 minutes from the pickup point by boat which is driven by Luca’s father and makes the most wonderful scenic trip to the accommodation. The food was freshly prepared and homemade by his mother and combines to make the most wonderful cultural experience. We stayed in a 5* in Budva the next night but although the accommodation was better - this is really an unmissable stop on a trip to Montenegro.

Perfect place to relax

Pros: The location was amazing for peace and quiet. A wonderful getaway to relax and unwind.

Cons: There was some misunderstanding about the cooking facilities and they are very limited. It would be more convenient to have the dinner they offer which was lovely.

Absolute paradise, if you like being away from the crowds and screens (no tv or internet).

Pros: The seclusion, swimming, food, location, fishing and hosts - cannot be better!

Unique Skodar Lake experience: what a paradise

Pros: The family of Danilo, Luka and Lydia welcomed us in a fantastic way. The location of the House is idillic, and you are really enjoying the atmoshpere of the lake. The excusrsion to the Beska monastery was worth the boat trip. Lydia cooks extremely well and their company was something to remember. The room is simple and pleasant. We just reccomend a mosquito net, but its nature at its best!

Breathtaking views, secluded hideaway, fab hosts

Pros: The place was amazing! Incredibly secluded with breathtaking views. The host family were lovely and the food they cooked was amazing. They dropped us off in their boat when we wanted to go into town. Star gazing was other worldly. The room was clean and comfortable and they had a fully stocked bar.

This old fisherman’s cottage is a one in a million rental. The location is stunning as the views.

Pros: This place is perfect to get away from it all and relax in a stunning location overlooking Lake Skadar. The hosts are wonderfully funny and friendly. So are the cats. Breakfast was out of this world. As was dinner. All home-cooked and served on our terrace. If you have second thoughts about being isolated - the house is only accessible by boat - leave those at the harbour. You will never forget staying at Radus.

Cons: Note that there is no living room and not much cooking facilities. Not too much of a problem as life is lived outdoors and home-cooked meals are excellent.

Moment hors du temps, havre de paix

Pros: L'endroit est idylique, on y accède par barque avec le propriétaire, et nous arrivons dans une petite crique seul au monde ! Le propriétaire est discret et sympa, avec de petites attentions qui vous attendent sur place. On recommande si vous cherchez un petit havre de paix, sans personne.

Pros: Прекрасное место для пассивного отдыха на выходные. В наше время найти в Черногории место, где не будет никого, кроме тебя и гостеприимных хозяев, просто не реально. Но мы нашли такое место. Полное уединение при отличном сервисе принимающей стороны. Очень рекомендую это место для людей, которые хотят полностью расслабиться и насладиться великолепным озером, тишиной, природой и простой домашней едой.

Pros: Очень приятные, гостеприимные хозяева, уединенное место вдали от шума.
