Montenegro 🇲🇪

Straight out of the movie

Pros: This cottage is absolutely beautiful – it feels like something straight out of The Holiday movie. Cozy, charming, and full of character. The cottage was clean, with fresh linens and towels provided. The kitchen is small but very functional and well-equipped – we had everything we needed to cook comfortably. Outside, the grill was excellent and easy to use – perfect for a relaxed countryside dinner. But the highlight of our stay was the incredibly kind and hospitable host. He was always ready to help and truly went above and beyond. When we had an unexpected issue with our car, he came to the rescue without hesitation. We are really grateful!

Quiet retreat

Pros: Great quiet location next to the national park, nearby the fiord and the former capital. Iva and her mom are great hosts. Very rural, we had a stormy night with thunder. The lights went off, but it added a lot of charm, just needed to light up the fire place. The next day everything was restored ;)

Cons: New, good looking bathroom but difficult to get rid of the water on the bathroom floor after showers

Great alternative to expensive hotels in Lovchen national park

Pros: The house is located in a small village. Very quiet, surrounded by forest. We especially liked the Rustik style (which differentiates this place from the majority of alternatives). There were 4 of us (couple and two kids of 14 and 6 years old) and it was quite comfortable (for three persons would be just perfect). The garden outside is equipped with a table and chairs as well as barbeque, whcih is also very convenient. Wi-fi connect was very goods Lovchen national park is in 20 minutes drive, so Rustic House is a great alternative to significantly more expensive hotels located inside the park. Conclusion: definitely recommend this place, especially if one has a car.

Rundum perfekt

Pros: Es war ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt und ein toller und ruhiger Ort zum entspannen. Auch unser Hund hat es dort geliebt. Wir wurden herzlich begrüßt und es fehlte uns an nichts. Jederzeit wieder.

Cons: Es war alles bestens aber packt ein Moskitospray ein.

Serenity.

Pros: Traditional Montenegrin stone home, updated to the current standards. Very quiet location, absolutely stunning calmness and beautiful views. Fantastic deck with traditional wood furniture. Great hosts.

Cons: A touch hard to find - however, worth the effort!
