Lake House Buric

Pros: Perfectly located property. The view of the lake and mountains is simply divine. The owner is very helpful and friendly. Everything was great!

Pros: Host was super helpful and nice, he organized boat trip for us with that came right in front of the house. We got the newer house and the standard and facilities were higher than expected.

Cons: You need to cross a busy road and railways to access the house, even though it can be stressful at the first time, you can get used to it

A little bit of heaven

Pros: The location was amazing. Right on the shores of Lake Skadar. The little fishermans cottage was a rare find. Well thought out decor and a lovely large bathroom out the back. We hired canoes from the owner and arranged a lovely boat trip and dinneer with some locals. It was an experience to never forget.

Cons: Had to cross a busy road but parking was right outside and given the proximity to the lake, was a very small inconvenience.

Pros: The host was very attentive, and communication was easy and pleasant. We received all the necessary information in advance, including directions, parking instructions, and more. The apartment itself was lovely, with a great interior design, very clean, and overall a pleasure to stay in. The view was simply stunning — honestly, even better than in other apartments we had seen. ❤️💚

Pros: The lake house is utterly charming, and the view is spectacular. The owner’s hospitality and guidance are second to none.

Cons: After parking the car, you need to cross a busy road and a railroad track.. somehow we never fully got over that.

Beautiful setting, very calm (except for traffic at the front), very helpful and friendly owners

Pros: The house is well equipped, modern and comfortable, exceptional views across Lake Skadar and adjacent mountains, direct access to the lake, rental of canoes possible

Cons: This was not an issue for us, but property is located next to main road and train tracks, parking is on the opposite side of the road, to get to the house, both the very busy road and train tracks need to be crossed, so with small kids or slow walkers, be aware of this, might be tricky to master, otherwise beautiful setting

Highly recommended for those who love nature, peace, quiet and escape from the city and crowds

Pros: The accommodation is phenomenal. The view from the terrace is priceless. Sleeping next to the fireplace is too good a feeling. The host was very kind and went out of his way to meet us for everything we needed. His welcome with wine and prepared fish speaks of his hospitality and kindness. The possibility of renting kayaks is a warm recommendation for everyone who likes to visit the lake. The cleanliness of the building was at a high level. I hope we will hang out again.

Great views

Pros: We didn’t use the terrace and mostly stayed indoors because of the insects, but the view from the bed is still amazing with the large glass sliding doors. We read reviews about the toilet being outside the house and were a bit concerned, but it’s just outside the main door so it’s not too bad. Didn’t meet the host but he was very responsive on WhatsApp and suggested many things for us to do.

Cons: As the other reviews mentioned, getting from the parking to the house is quite stressful. Parking may also be difficult if you have a big car. Thankfully ours was small.

Pros: The lake side view was beautiful. Host was very helpful and check in was easy- be a little careful when crossing the busy road.

Cons: For our stay there was not an Intex pool as seen in some of the photos and advertised on description

Pros: The views from the veranda are beautiful and the location is so different to home. The Lake House has a truly unique and the communication from Ivana was excellent.

Cons: The only item which wasn’t ideal was the road side parking which was a little too close to the main road; but we will always remember our lovely stay at Lake House Buric.
