Explorer Podgorica

Pros: The location is excellent, the room and apartment were very clean, everything was easy for check-in and check-out... the managers helped me with everything I needed for a pleasant stay in Podgorica.

Spacious Lockers and Good Location

Pros: The hostel is within walking distance from the bus station. The locker in the room is very large—big enough to potentially fit two carry-on-sized bags. There is air conditioning. The owner offers airport transfer for €25. (If you’re looking for a cheaper option, a regular taxi might be better.) There is space on the balcony to hang laundry, although I didn’t use it as I only stayed one night.

Cons: The owner does not speak much English. The toilet and shower lacked cleanliness—they didn’t seem to be cleaned with much care. There are no power outlets at each bed.

Pleasent

Pros: Upon arriving rang door bell and owner lives on ground level, shown how to use fob to unlock front door and then headed up to my dorm. I was only one during my stay. Short walk to bus/train stations and not very far from center.

Cons: Kitchen was very basic with cooking equipment, sadly all hot drink contaniners where empty. Apartment does heat up quickly, but A/C seems to help

Friendly host

Pros: I was the only traveller so got upgraded to a private room. The host was very nice and let me pay the next day as I didn't have cash when I arrived. The kitchen has decent equipment and the whole place had aircon available which was helpful because without that it was very cold.

Cons: The hostel was very cold without aircon. Only one bathroom so I imagine it would be challenging with more than 1 or 2 guests staying. The kitchen wasn't the cleanest but it was manageable. The location was very close to the bus station but not ideal for getting into the city center. Could've used a light near the bed as the only light was the big overhead one.

Pros: I had an exceptional stay at the Explorer Hostel in Podgorica. Its prime location, just a short walk from the main bus and train station, made my travel incredibly convenient. The hostel is also just minutes from the city center, perfect for exploring the local attractions on foot. The staff were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything I needed. The common areas were vibrant and a great place to meet fellow travelers. Additionally, the hostel offers excellent amenities, including free Wi-Fi and a well-equipped kitchen. The atmosphere was friendly and laid-back, making it a perfect base for both solo travelers and groups. I highly recommend Explorer Hostel for anyone visiting Podgorica.

Pros: The owner of the hostel, Mr. Dino is a wonderful person who was super available and gave me some really useful advice. The room was clean and in general the place was cozy so I could feel at home. It's also very close to both the city center and the bus and train station so it is easy to plan some trips out of the city.

Pros: recommendation to everyone. my friends were in a luxury apartment (Luxury Explorer apartments) at the same address, and I took the cheaper variant. fantastic host, excellent air conditioning, peaceful, quiet, safe.

Good hostel

Pros: Very nice accommodation. Room very clean and neat, clean bathroom, balcony and sitting area. Family run hostel very friendly and helpful staff. Close to bus station, restaurant and super market.
