A cozy place in a perfect location
Pros: A cozy place in a perfect location: the old town is right nearby, yet its noise and tourist crowds don’t reach here. Real turtles live in the courtyard, there’s a medieval church close by, and the nearest cafés are just a half-minute walk away. I definitely recommend it for a one- or two-week stay!

Nice and spacious, close to old town.
Pros: We stayed in a very spacious apartment within walking distance of the old city of Kotor. The location is excellent, and it was very convenient to have private parking, an absolute must for Kotor The price was affordable, and the host was very kind and helpful—he even helped us find the apartment late at night.
Cons: The only real downside was the Wi-Fi, which unfortunately was very poor. Most of the time only WhatsApp worked, and I couldn’t download emails. Because I needed to access a few important ones, I had to use my mobile data at a high roaming cost (€2.50 per MB), which ended up being a €60 bill. Of course, this is not the owner’s fault, but with reliable Wi-Fi this problem could easily be avoided. My advice: for anyone visiting Montenegro, since it’s not part of the EU roaming zone, I highly recommend arranging an international data package with your provider beforehand or buying a local SIM card. Overall, I would still recommend this apartment for its space, location, price, and the great host—just hope the Wi-Fi gets improved soon!

A pleasant and convenient stay (hot water mishap notwithstanding).
Pros: It was conveniently located, though Waze navigated us to the wrong street initially.
Cons: We had only cold showers on our second night because we had inadvertently turned off the hot water when trying to find the light switch for the kitchen. We would strongly recommend that the hot water switch (which is right next to the bathroom light switch) be clearly labeled to avoid future mishaps.

Fantastic place to stay in Kotor
Pros: Location was the best- 2 minutes walk to old town, supermarket nearby but also very quiet and peaceful. Absolutely spotless, very smart, comfortable and cosy. Nice fresh decor. Very well equipped kitchen which was very useful. Seating area outside was lovely. Helpful staff and easy to communicate with via message.
Cons: Only two minor things: it would be good to provide some tea bags, and also there should be a curtain across the front door as you could see in from outside if the light was on. I still loved my stay here though!

A good value apartment close to the Old Town.
Pros: The apartment has a good and quiet location a 5 minute walk from the old town. The apartment was clean and the host, amenable.
Cons: The bathroom was very small, no room to swing a hamster, let alone a cat!

Good place to stay in Kotor
Pros: 1. Comfortable bed. 2. Great location: super close to the city center. 3. Air conditioning. 4. Kitchen with everything you need. 5. Helpful and friendly staff.
Cons: Minor disadvantages: 1. Poor Wi-Fi connection. 2. You need an internet connection to check-in. 3. Very small bathroom. 4. At night you have to choose between freshness with mosquitoes and stuffiness but without mosquitoes

Home Sweet Home!
Pros: What an adorable apartment! Conveniently located, just a 5 min walk from the old town, yet very peaceful all day. Everything is tasteful, even the dishes and cutlery and you get the feeling that the owners are really taking good care of the place. The kitchen is well equipped and so is the bathroom, even though it's small. The sofa can easily sleep a 15-year-old (but it might be short for a tall grown-up). Honestly, the pictures don't do it justice!
Cons: We had no cat food for all the fluffy friends who kept us company while having breakfast! Sorry, Mr Snow White!
