Hotel De‘Andros Virpazar

Warm hospitality, excellent food, a perfect location for exploring the region.

Pros: We had a lovely stay at De‘Andros Virpazar and were genuinely impressed. The hotel has a beautiful European style and is very conveniently located, just around 25 minutes from the airport by car. Despite our late arrival, we were warmly welcomed and still able to enjoy dinner (restaurant works until 11 pm). The owner was incredibly kind, sharing local insights and helping us plan our time in Montenegro, the personal touch really made a difference. Breakfast exceeded all expectations, with a generous selection of traditional Montenegrin dishes, local delicacies, cold cuts and fresh fruit, all included in the room rate. The spa was excellent, the rooftop terrace offers stunning views and the balcony view was simply superb. A fantastic base for exploring Lake Skadar, Bar and the Adriatic coast. We would happily stay here again.

Cons: If we had to mention one small thing, it would be the limited amount of drinking water provided in the minibar (small 0.25l bottles). That said, it was a very minor point and didn’t affect our overall experience, which was excellent.

The staff were outstanding — warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Every interaction reflected professionalism and care. The breakfast was another highlight: excellent in quality, rich in variety, and thoughtfully prepared, with options to suit every taste. Overall, this was a memorable experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking comfort, outstanding service, and spectacular surroundings.

Pros: The property is everything good, and value for money.

Pros: The view from the roof top pool was stunning. The pool itself was lovely. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast selection was plentiful

Cons: Being hustled by several boat trip employees as we approached the hotel.

We would highly recommend the hotel.

Pros: The lady at reception was amazing and she went out of her way to help in a medical emergency we had. The breakfast was great. We loved having a view of the lake. The recommendation of local things to do were great.

Cons: The spa was an extra £10 which we were not made aware of but wanted to use the facility. Unfortunately the steam or hot tub and salt room was not working. The only spa room that was working was the sauna.

A perfect stay at Skadar lake

Pros: Great room , good restaurant, rooftop bar, great atmosphere and most of all the staff were so helpful patient showing us what where and how to do things in the area and arranged for us a very nice private boat tour on the lake.

Cons: It was really a perfect stay !

Pros: Very good hotel - everything is new and perfectly clean. Special thanks to the staff for their help in organizing tours and for great local recommendations.

Pros: The hotel itself is beautiful. We got a room with a view to the lake, we were the only visitors in the outdoor pool with another nice view. Everything was perfect.

Cons: The only thing that didn't work good was the electrical shutdown so the saunas didnlt work
