Amazing, memorable!

Pros: I cannot say enough good things about Hotel Vardar!! A great location just inside the gate of Old Town, Hotel Vardar’s staff at reception is professional and helpful…recommended an amazing seafood restaurant just a short walk from the hotel. The hotel’s bar was very good, too. The hotel decor was gorgeous. The room was clean and beautiful. Robes, slippers, a very large shower with great smelling bath gel and shampoo, thick bath towels…perfect. And we were so excited that there were several English tv stations to choose from not just BBC, CNN and news but movies. The breakfast was great! Offered a wide variety of items to choose from in a very nicely set up breakfast room. We loved it! Highly recommend a stay at Hotel Vardar!!

Cons: Not one thing…all was great.

Pros: Central location plus a comfortable and huge room! The reception staff was really welcoming and friendly. We loved our stay here, would stay again.

Pros: A very cool hotel. It conveys the whole atmosphere of old times. We celebrated a birthday here, the staff congratulated us and gave us a small gift. It was very nice. The breakfast is quite small for vegetarians, but it’s everywhere in the Balkans.

Great location and great staff - please fix the curtains and blinds.

Pros: The location is brilliant, in the heart of the old town. Whilst there was an issue with the room, the staff were absolutely brilliant.

Cons: Whilst the room was good, the curtains did not fully close, the wooden blind also didn't close and one night we had ants where the staff had to change our rooms.

We would stay at this hotel again if we are able to return to Kotor!

Pros: The location was perfect. Right off the main square/entrance to Old Town, but quiet. The bed was firm and very comfortable. Everything was clean and well-maintained. The restaurant had a lovely area to sit outside with amazing service from the staff. Breakfasts were delicious with a wide variety of meats and cheeses, fruit, cereal, breads and croissants, and juices, coffee, and tea.

Cons: The lighting in our bathroom was a bit dim, but I just did my makeup in the room at the desk area, overlooking the Old Town Square! So, with an amazing view!

Recommend Montenegro and Hotel Vardar

Pros: The room was great. The location in the old walled city was great, everything was around us. The staff were super friendly and helpful, they helped arrange some trips and advised on some better ones. Breakfast was good, different choice of pastries each morning, nice fruit and yogurts too

Cons: Only WIFI in the hotel, had to pay or buy a new sim for use of WIFI outside the hotel

A feeling of luxury in a lovely hotel in a beautiful town - hard to beat!

Pros: Fabulous location. A general feeling of luxury in the room which was amazingly silent despite the location. The woman on reception (Marija) was exceptionally helpful. The buffet breakfast was the best I've had in a long time.
