Via river

Pros: Our stay was absolutely perfect! Despite arriving late, the host was very understanding. Our German Shepherd, Simon, was welcome, and the bungalow was an ideal fit for us. It was well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, and the parking was conveniently located nearby. The entire place is amazing, and the lovely cats were a special bonus!

The best site so far on our roadtrip - but horrible thing of a registration (read review)

Pros: A perfect location for a summer evening! (It was cold in October, so we could use the outdoor place, which is gorgeous!). A small but cool hut at the river, A/C for heating, even a smallest kitchen to warm a soup or cafe. All in wood. parking Nextdoor. very quiet. Really a positive surprise!

Cons: not the owners fault, but worth mentioning: In Montenegro, you have to register at the tourist office (or may be police) every night you stay in the country. And you have to go there to physically present your passport (and pay one (!) € per day and person. This is very bad, as I dont want to spend my holiday time in a city with many cars and no parking spaces. We chose via river to not be in the city, which was perfect. But we had to go to a place we really didn't want! This rule is totally against the tourism, should be done digitally by the owners of apartments!

Lovely cabin just out of the city, calm surroundings!

Pros: Accommodation is very unique and provides everything you need, even cooking facilities in the cabin. Nice sitting area outside the cabin and a little cat that we grew quite fond of when we were there. Nice proximity to the city.

Cons: Beware of the mosquitoes - definitely take some bug repellent! But other than that no downsides

Pros: The apartment is very beautiful with a stunning view, just like in the pictures – and even more breathtaking in reality. The host was very friendly and welcoming. You can also enjoy driving the kayak boat by yourself in complete privacy, which was an amazing experience. I highly recommend this apartment and the host.

A very welcome start to our trip in Montenegro

Pros: Great location and lovely people. You have a view on the lake and a big terrace, great so close to the city. They even shared some local cuisine with us, and we were allowed to use the kayaks at the lake

Cons: Sanitary facilities could be improved, but part of the experience and still great value for money

Pros: Our host was really kind and caring. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and calm. Nice environment, in front of a beautiful river. We even had canoes available for free to enjoy it, as well as a beautiful terrasse near the river. Thank you for everything!

Beautiful Place

Pros: The fella who greeted us was a really top bloke. Such a beautiful spot on the edge of the city. For a small little cabin it had everything you needed. The free use of the kayaks and the complimentary homemade wine was a class touch. We will be back. Hvala!

Pros: Really nice tiny house everything you need is there , very thoughtfully put together. You can jump into the river close to the house a few steps away . You have your privacy here. Atmospheric setup in a fisherman style . Would book any time again . Thanks a lot !

Cons: Be aware of mosquitos. Not a specific topic of the house but any place close to water will have that .

Peaceful and relaxing close to town. Great hosts.

Pros: Via river was relaxing and peaceful after the craziness of Budva. The hosts were so accommodating and even drove us to the bus station the next morning. The bed was comfortable and the outdoor area is perfect to eat or chill out. Great spot, close to town.

Cons: Didn’t use the shower as it was not enclosed but it didn’t worry us.
