Guest House Mare

Pros: A very pleasant place to stay. The house is modern, cozy, and tastefully designed. The outdoor area is well-kept and comfortable, a nice spot to relax. The hosts are kind and welcoming, always ready to help. We left with only good impressions.

Pros: Beautiful accommodation in the middle of the mountains. Great kitchen, tv, pool facilities !

Cons: Maybe put a signpost off the main road. It's difficult to find it !

Peaceful haven - great base for exploring

Pros: We stayed in the stone cottage, everything was new, it was spacious, light and airy with brand new appliances and furniture. The outside decking was wonderful with loads of space to sit and relax in the shade or the sun. The garden is beautiful with a lovely little pool to cool off. The cottages are located off the main coastal road but it’s a really peaceful haven away from people and the traffic and the views across the valley are great. It’s better to have a car to visit nearby beaches (though there is a nearby bus stop) as the local beach isn’t the best. It’s a 25 minute walk to the local beach resort Canj. The cottages are a brilliant base to visit anywhere along the coast and beautiful lake Skadar. We also went up into the mountains for a day. Ivana and Goran were fantastic hosts - so friendly and helpful and were just a quick text away if you needed them. Wonderful people!

Great little house in a beautiful garden

Pros: Comfortable house, lovely gardens and nice pool and outdoor shower. The house was well-equipped, the terrace is very nice and Ivana and Goran were really friendly and helpful.

Pros: The place is nice — it's located in a remote location, the village is quite small, just a few houses around with mountains surrounding it. The hosts were great, they visited us every day of our stay and gave us some tips on the area and shopping locations. The house has almost everything you need during your stay: the kitchen is well-equipped, the beds are comfy, and the garden is a nice touch, especially with all the blossoming flowers. The wifi works just fine (we had some troubles with it after a strong storm but the hosts were quick to respond and fixed it in no time).

Cons: The hosts have two houses on their property and just one small pool which is good if you live alone but once there are strangers living next door you'll have to come to some pool arrangement. And it wouldn't be a problem if there were a good route to the beach. Now there is only a railway through the forest where you'll have to cross the creek twice. And it is gonna take you about 20-25 minutes to get to the beach which is not what you'd like to do every day, especially with kids. Unfortunately, the Čanj beach is quite a disaster this year: swarms of people, super dirty, tons of cigarette butts laying around but this is all tourists' fault. The bathroom is quite small and there are no shower curtains so after showers everything in there is wet. Also, the path to the house is super steep and it is a challenge to go up to the high road after the rain (doesn’t matter if you are on foot or by car). And to go to the nearest shop you'll have to cross this busy high road, which can be a dangerous adventure. A few things were strange for us: one, there is no freezer, two, the house has a key card system that switches off electricity in it and the hosts asked us to remove the card every time we leave the house so all the power supply is automatically cut which means that the boiler and the fridge were not working while we were out (nonsense!) — the fridge could not properly cool the products in it because we were gone almost every day for the whole day and we had to wait for the boiler to hear the water so we could take a proper shower after the sea. Lots of words for a couple of tiny problems, sorry! We frankly enjoyed our stay in spite of all these things.

Wonderful apartman.

Pros: Accomodation beynd expectations, with very kind hospitable host. Really relaxing, free from the noise of the city, where everything is provided for relaxtation. We can only recommend it!

Świetny domek dla rodzin z dziećmi.

Pros: Świetnie wyposażony domek z basenem, z każdej strony otoczony zielenią ( można zbierać figi prosto z drzewa), przemili i pomocni właściciele, którzy bardzo chętnie podpowiedzą gdzie szukać ładnych plaż i doradzą jak najwygodniej podjechać pod domek

Cons: Dojazd stromy ale wykonalny osobowym autem ( najłatwiej ostatni odcinek zjeżdżać tyłem )

Pros: La maison est splendide avec un jardin magnifique, arboré et très bien entretenu. La piscine est très propre.

Cons: L'accès à la maison est très compliqué et des odeurs d'égouts dans la salle de bain.

Uniek verblijf buiten de grotere toeristische plaatsen.

Pros: Mooie huisje, schoon en in een hele mooi tuin omringd door de bergrotsen. Gastvrij ontvangst. De hosts zijn erg aardig en behulpzaam. Wij konden de locatie niet vinden (is erg lastig te vinden in eerste instantie) en ze kwamen ons meteen ophalen. De 2 huisjes liggen op een unieke plek, vlakbij het Shkoder meer en Bar/Stari Bar. Budva en Sveti Stefan zijn ook goee bereikbaar vanaf dit adres.

Pros: Sehr schönes Haus in toller Lage. Schöner und sauberer Pool. Sehr nette, hilfsbereite Vermieter und während unserem Aufenthalt auch sehr nette Nachbarn im 2. Haus auf dem Grundstück.

Cons: Die Zufahrt ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, vor allem wenn das Auto einen großen Wendekreis hat.
