Authentic and memorable

Pros: Absolutely wonderful stay! Balabani Local Stay in Podgorica was perfect in every way. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully designed with attention to every detail. The location is convenient — peaceful yet close to everything you need. I especially loved the cozy atmosphere and the genuine local touch that made my stay feel authentic and memorable

Pros: A fabulously warm welcome from all the family! A lovely, peaceful location and a very comfortable and clean room. Definitely a place to recommend to friends and family. We will stay here if we travel to Podgorica again.

Pros: Mladi and his wife welcomed us warmly and we had good conversations even though we only stayed for one night. We got a spontanious vegetarian dinner made from all the fresh veggies they grow in their garden. The place is beautiful and serene and the room was great so it was the perfect stay close to the airport.

Pros: We stayed at Balabani Local Stay and it was truly one of the warmest, most welcoming places we've ever experienced. The staff are incredibly kind, responsive, and genuinely caring — you feel more like a guest in someone’s home than in a hotel. The rooms were spotless and cozy, with very comfortable beds that made for a great night's sleep. The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, homemade, and full of flavor. Breakfast alone is worth the stay! If you're looking for peace, comfort, and true hospitality — this is the place. Would happily come back again!

Pros: The breakfast was great. The people were very friendly. Good for a short term stay.

Pros: Food Location Service and facility Rooms Cleanness and safety

Cons: That there was no fridge as it was hot could have been helpful to keep our drinks cold, however there is a fridge in outside and ice was provided.

Pros: Ideal for a peaceful and comfortable stay. Very kind and helpful owners.

Lovely local stay

Pros: Very friendly staff! Absolutely service-minded. They serve the best breakfast I’ve had on the trip! Expect local charm and non standardised accommodation, but very comfortable.

Cons: I liked the place a lot. Not much to criticise. With that being said, signing at the driveway could be improved.

A wonderful stop for us as we crossed the country made even more memorable by one of our beds being made by hand and fin

Pros: The property was lovely with welcoming hosts and the garden / mini farm area was great for relaxing and for the kids to play. So happy we stayed here.

Pros: very friendly appartment managed by a super friendly and nice family! The house is located near Gornje Malo Blato & Skadar Lake, which offers a great opportunity to make some beautiful trips where the house owner could be a great choice as a guide.
