Eco Village experience - Skadar Lake

Pros: Exceptionally clean. Well equipped apartment. Comfortable beds. Host Ivan and the whole family very pleasant and friendly people. The breakfast, 7 euros per person, was tasty and made from their own, local ingredients. We took a boat tour with Ivan on the Skadar Lake and enjoyed every minute of the tour. The house is located approx 2km from Virpazar, and at night we walked to and from Virpazar. The village is situated on the top of the hill, no noise, no traffic... We enjoyed the starry night. I can highly recommend this place 👍

Cons: The rooster start crowing around 2am and some of us couldn't sleep well 🤣

Pros: Great apartment, spacious, comfortable and clean. Very well located, in a quiet place. The breakfast, huge and delicious. The host and all the family, very welcoming and friendly, and extremely helpful. One incredible anecdote: our daughter got very sick and the host cousin brought us to the hospital in Podgorica and and then he stayed with us and helped us during the full evening to communicate with the medical staff. I could never repay this attention.

Pros: Very kind host. Surroundings were beautiful. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. We drank some own brewed raki with the owner and had some nice conversations. View words resulted into good conversations, we had a laugh!

Pros: Location is amazing! House is spacious and well equipped. We ate absolutely delicious breakfast. The owner took us on his boat and we cruised through the lake! Unforgettable experience! We also got a bottle of house wine which was incredible too!

Cons: Hair dryer almost got in fire. House was a little bit cold (end of April). The shower base easily filled up with water.

Lovely apartment in beautiful location. Don't arrange extras.

Pros: Beautiful apartment with gorgeous views. Would be a bit of a challenge without a car, but if you have transport it is great. Had everything we needed. Hosts were very helpful and took us on a boat trip, which was actually a bit of a disaster.

Cons: Nothing negative to say about the accommodation at all. I wouldn't accept the offer of a boat trip. Charged us €60 (admittedly we should have agreed a price before hand) and we nearly got stuck in the water with the boat floating away when the guide jumped in to swim with us without dropping the anchor or letting down the ladder. Better off booking one in town.

Pros: The accomodation was really nice. Location was perfect and everything was clean. The best of all was our host - when we arrived we had troubles with our tire. He called his friend even if it was already after 7pm. The guy came in a few minutes, took a tire and in hour he brought it back fixed! Amazing! This is accommodation with many benefits.

Authentic Montenegran accommodation

Pros: Ivan and his family were very welcoming. The unit was spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed. Ivan took us on a boat trip around Lake Skada which was very relaxing and beautiful. Great location, only 5 mins from Vispasar. Amazing views from unit. Easy parking. Look for the Village Experience sign as place is set off the road and easy to miss.
