Superb Apartments Virpazar

Economical and convenient!

Pros: The room was pretty clean and the view was really nice. Also they left some snacks, coffee and things like that for us :)

Cons: The location is near to the main road so if you dont have a car it is not possible to walk to center of Virpazar. Additionally there was a bad smell coming from the bathroom :/

Highly recommended!

Pros: We enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment has everything we need, and it's close to the village centre but quiet enough. Very kind host!

Fantastic

Pros: A beautiful apartment which was very comfortable, with grat facilities. Very spacious and modern. If you like staying out of the main town then it's a great location and nice to be somewhere quiet with a view. About a 15 min walk from Virpazar centre. The host was very helpful and easy to communicate with. Her brother met me at the apartment.

Cons: It might be more difficult for people who dont have a car to reach this property as you have to go up the main highway to reach it. I was initially worried as it is too dangerous to walk along this road. However, after asking several people, i was shown a small path that runs from virpazar town and then you have to walk across the train track. This was not a problem for me, but it is not shown on maps so you might need to ask someone where the path starts.

Pros: Modern and clean apartment in a good location, a few minutes drive from the lake. Very nice host, welcome snacks available in the apartment.

Great value for money new and well equipped apartment.

Pros: Close to Virpazar although you would need a car (5 mns). Spacious, bright, comfortable bed. Great bathroom : quick hot water and good pressure. Very nice welcome from Goran : drink and snacks at our arrival.

Cons: Lack of plugs, especially in the kitchen. Only 1 plug for the kettle and the stove. At keast a multiple plug device would be needed. A lot of outside light enter through the main door during the night which can be a bother.

Amazing stay but a little far from the centre

Pros: The apartment - Very clean and spacious. The bathroom was well equipped. There was also a tiny kitchen which I did not use. The hosts- The hosts were very helpful and nice. They guided me about things to do and also came to pick me up at the train station. One of them could not speak English but managed to use Google translate to help me out.

Cons: The location (if you don't have a car). Although it is close to lake Skadar (tours), the route leading up to the supermarket and the town area is quite unsafe. At what point I had to choose whether to walk on the side of the railway track or the busy highway with no footpath or walking space at all. I chose the side of the railway track. Of course if you've got a car, this would not be a problem for you. But if you are relying on public transport, especially in the shoulder season, please keep this in mind to make an informed decision. The hosts do a wonderful job to make your stay comfortable and would guide you about the way but I didn't find this information in reviews or the website and was scared about walking at the side of the railway track lest a train passed by. I was also travelling solo which added to the displeasure. Other than that, I can't fault the property or the hosts.

Nice place and kind host

Pros: The apartment was good and owner was very nice even if he doesn’t understand English he was trying to use google translate. I really recommend it for some peaceful days out of the life stress

Cons: The only thing was a bit cold as we went in January.
