It was a nice journey

Pros: We had a pleasant and quiet stay. Mr. Novkovic showed his concern by constantly asking if we were having any problems, and we had a pleasant, albeit brief, conversation about our past and our lives. Lady Ms. Novkovic was also very kind and hospitable. Her hug as we left reassured us of her warm welcome. Thank you. There is always hot water available unless you turn off the hot water switch.

Cons: Although there are some minor nuances that need to be adjusted, this does not spoil your fun.

Pros: Friendly host. Good place to park our bicycles in the front garden. Lots of balconies and outdoor space.

A very pleasant stay.

Pros: The owners were very kind and welcoming. They gave us great recommendations for a local restaurant and a trip. We really appreciated that they personally prepared and served breakfast, which was excellent. For breakfast, there was a choices of sweet and savoury options, eggs, fruit, juice, coffee. Breakfast cost €10 per person, which I think was a very fair price for what was offered. I definitely recommend them. During the stay, you could buy beer, wine, rakija, or coffee from them at any time. Sitting on the balcony was very pleasant, and we enjoyed spending our evenings there.

Cons: The bathroom needs renovation.

Pros: # Landlord Boris and Vera were great and helpful people. (My wife was a little sick and they paid attention a lot, medicine, control etc.) # Rooms are very clean, # You can sit outside and drink your coffee or beer. # Free parking

Homely snug apartment with nice shared terrace

Pros: The hosts were absolutely fantastic and made us feel welcome the moment we arrived. Language barrier is no problem thanks to Google translate! You can tell they’re lovely people with a natural flair for hosting guests. Though the apartment itself is small, it had everything we needed (fridge, kettle, hobs) with the exception of an oven. The terrace was also great and felt like our own private one that got the sun pretty much the entire day! The location is a 20 min walk to the beach and 45 mins to the main bus station, but was quiet and felt safe at night. Overall, we would definitely recommend staying here!

Cons: The bed was very creaky and could probably do with an upgrade. No TV but we didn’t feel the need for a it anyway - maybe others might.

Great breakfast, sweet hosts, amazing cost benefit.

Pros: The hosts are very sweet, kind, helpful and always available for a chat. Their unit is quite nice and located in a residential area of the town. The breakfast is absolutely awesome!!!

Cons: As a residential area, you need to take a 20min walk to reach any restaurants. My room had a big glass dor that connected to a common terrace. To have privacy I'd have to keep the shutters closed at all times.

Pros: Everything was exactly as in the photos, the host was very welcoming and pleasant. Location is really close to the beach, apartmants are very clean and nice. All in all it was amazing stay!

Pros: Very clean and comfortable room, feels almost like hotel. Great hosts, stable wifi, good bed.

Cons: The room was at the shady side of the house, but I nevertheless missed shutters on windows, as usual in this region. In the mornings there could be too much light, and the curtains are not enough. Also the house is located a bit in the deep of the private sector, and there is no straight road to the sea. If you want to get quick, at least at 10 minutes, you should cross a big construction area or to sneak the private yards of the other houses (both ways don't feel good, sure).

Pleasant, comfortable stay and super friendly hosts.

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay and we decided to make it even longer than originally planned. Great hosts. We got some great recommendations for what to see (the waterfall:) and where to eat. Our room was very comfortable and super clean. The kitchenette had everything you may need including coffee or salt. Nice side view from the balcony. Really good value for money.

Cons: Admittedly the location is a bit far from the center but if you have car it’s not a problem. Also the bathroom was rather small and not very comfortable.

Pros: Odlično mesto za odmor, van gužve, a opet blizu svega. Apartman ima sve što je potrebno, a pritom je prostran i veoma uredan. Terasa pruža prelep pogled na planinu Rumiju. Domaćini iz porodice Novković su bili preljubazni i učinili su sve da nam ulepšaju boravak u Šušnju. Sve preporuke za ovaj smeštaj. 😊
