A hidden gem in the hills of Šušanj – with a view, a pool, and the kindest hosts ever!

Pros: We had a fantastic stay in this surprisingly spacious and bright apartment – three bedrooms, three balconies, a huge living room and kitchen, air conditioning in every room, and a stunning view of both the sea and the mountains. The place was spotless, well-equipped (even with a drying rack and iron!), and had fast Wi-Fi. The garden is a little paradise: fruit trees, a warm swimming pool, a grill, and comfy outdoor furniture – perfect for lazy afternoons. But the true highlight? Maria – an absolute angel. Warm, helpful, and full of local tips, she and her family made us feel incredibly welcome. They helped us with transport, recommended great spots, and even ordered a taxi when needed. Shops and tasty restaurants are nearby, and there’s a bus stop down the road (though Montenegrin bus schedules seem to run on island time).

Cons: Note for future guests: The apartment is a few hundred meters from the beach, but there's a 40-meter elevation gain – so expect a bit of a hike back up. It’s not just a vacation, it’s cardio! But hey, it’s called MONTEnegro for a reason! Highly recommend – we left with happy hearts and slightly stronger legs. A coffee machine would be great, or at least a drip/Moka pot. Fortunately we've had our own Aeropress with us :)

Pros: A very nice house with good owners. Large swimming pool, large rooms with air conditioning. There are several supermarkets nearby. The sea is 10 minutes away on foot.

Pros: The apartment is more than perfect, the view from the huge terrace is fabulous, the pool is an extraordinary experience. The host Marija is super friendly and helpful, she provided us with great recommendations and advice, and we couldn't come up with anything that she couldn't solve :) I hope we'll be back ;)

Pros: Perfect appartman with stunning views, very spacious, very clean, very close to the best beach. The pool is great, the garden is beautiful. Great bbq area. Five stars

We were on a family holiday, 3 adult couples. Spacious apartment suited us and the kitchen was ok even though we ate out

Pros: Spacious. We were 3 couples in the family and the 3 bedrooms suited us well. View from the apartment was good. It was quiet. The walk to the beach was about 10 minutes and steep but it became easier each day. Also, good restaurants nearby and a close shop. Very clean apartment

Pros: Wspaniali gospodarze. Czysty i zadbany basen. Wspaniały widok. Przestronny i czysty apartament. Duży salon z kuchnią. Balkony z widokiem na Bar.

Cons: Wszystko było OK.

Pros: Blisko do morza, piękna okolica bardzo pomocni właściciele

Pros: Ubytování bylo čisté, odpovídalo popisu. Bazén a okolí venkovního zázemí stejně tak. Paní provozovatelka byla velmi milá, poskytla nám spoustu cenných informací o okolí Baru.

Pros: Bardzo duży,komfortowy apartament z przepięknym widokiem. Gospodarze bardzo serdeczni i kontaktowi. Szkoda było wyjeżdżać

Pobyt bardzo udany, niezwykle mili i gościnni właściciele. Na pewno tam wrócimy!

Pros: Piękny widok z tarasu na morze, prywatny basen, duży i wygodny apartament z dwoma łazienkami, dobra lokalizacja blisko plaży, sklepów i restauracji.
